The answer to Where to Find Metal Coat in Pokemon Legends Z-A is one that has a few answers.
These are the only ways to get Metal Coat in the game. Conveiently, they are the perfect number to get Steelix and Scizor at least once. We suggest completing the missions first, they are in the later game but these are some of the easiest ways to get the Metal Coat.
Steelix and Scizor are the only two Pokemon to need a Metal Coat to evolve.
This is due to the fact that they were added in Gen 2 when Steel was one of the newest typings. It is surprising the no Steel Pokemon have needed a Metal Coat to evolve since. That being said, it does still give a boost to Steel-type moves as well so it is worth getting more than just the two for evolution if you have other Steel Pokemon on your team.
