What is the best starter in Pokemon Legends Z-A?

Every Pokemon Legends Z-A player will have to decide early on which starter Pokemon they will choose, and many would want to know the best option. While some of this comes down to personal preference, we think there is a clear cut choice for the best starter Pokemon in Legends Z-A.

The Best Starter Pokemon in Legends Z-A

We believe the best starting Pokemon in Legends Z-A is Totodile. We believe this to be the case for a couple of reasons:

• Typing: There are a lot of great options for other Fire and Grass Pokemon in Legends Z-A, but it feels like there are a few less for Water Pokemon. You can see the full Pokedex here to help you make that call!
• Best Mega Evolution: We think Mega Feraligatr has some of the better stats of the other Starter Pokemon Megas, with an impressive 160 Atk stat.

But, in the end, it is your choice which of the three starters you go with in Pokemon Legends Z-A. The game is full of so many great Pokemon, so in the end, you really can’t go wrong. Heck, you can even get a Kanto starter!
