Ever since Pokemon was released in the 1990s, the level cap has been at 100. Now, with the latest Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension trailer, it seems that will be changing. That is right, Pokemon will be able to go over Level 100 for the first time ever in Mega Dimension.

The latest trailer for Pokemon Legends Z-A DLC Mega Dimension may have blown some minds, revealing that there are Pokemon Over Level 100.
Well, this is true but with a bit of a technicality. In the new DLC gameplay, it was seen that there were multiple Pokemon over level 100, including some of your own. How this happened was thanks to the Mythical Pokemon, Hoopa.
What will happen is that you will make Donuts for this mischievous Pokemon. Depending on the berries that you use, your Pokemon will gain levels. This will be in order to make sure that you can battle the insanely strong Pokemon in the other Dimensions. In the trailers, we have seen some as high as level 170.

There is little doubt that this will be pretty game changing for the Pokemon franchise. It was not something that many fans really ever thought that The Pokemon Company would break. A rule that was forever, level 100 was the highest. It will be worth watching to see how this will work in the new DLC and if it will be something added to Pokemon games moving forward.
