Mega Zeraora is the first new Mega Evolution in Pokemon Mega Dimension that is a Mythical Pokemon.
Many thought Zeraora would be in Pokemon Legends Z-A. This is due to it being mentioned in the initial Teraleaks for the game and code was found for it in the Datamined game files. It was left out and instead added in the DLC.
Zeraora needed some love. It is widely considered to be a good design and a strong Pokemon that was seemingly just added at the end of Sun and Moon and mostly forgotten about.
Below is the official description for Mega Zeraora.
“The electric energy it stores in its body is equivalent to ten bolts of lightning. Protrusions on its forehead, chest, back, and the backs of its hands are where the electric energy is particularly concentrated. The protrusions steadily emit a pale blue light.”
It will remain an Electric-type Pokemon which is a bit of a surprise but potentially a welcome one competitively.
In terms of stats, we do not have anything official but it is already extremely fast and can be an Attacker or Special Attacker. Mega Evolutions receive 100 base stats when they are on the field. It would not be a surprise to see Mega Zeraora get either more Speed and lean more into being a physical Attacker or they could keep its Speed and make it Bulkier.
Either way, we will get a look at this Mythical Legendary Pokemon once Mega Dimension releases in December.
