There have been leaks and rumors about new Mega Pokemon for months now. Some have turned out to be true while others haven’t, but one consistent claim is that there will be 26 new Mega Evolutions in total. According to the latest datamine, Mega Scolipede has now been potentially confirmed for Pokemon Legends Z-A.

Below is our first leaked look at Mega Scolipede for Pokemon Legends Z-A.

As always, take this with a grain of salt but according to many leakers, this is the final design for Scolipede. There are many things worth noting with this design but for starters, this is just the head and likely a photo from the battle UI.

Analysis of Mega Scolipede

As of now, it looks like Mega Scolipede will remain Bug and Poison in terms of typing.

What is not known is what its stats will be. For the time being, we will speculate that it will continue to be a quick physical attacker. This would line up with the high attack and speed stats that it already has.

Along with this is its interesting change in colors. This is not a shiny Mega Scolipede, at least not that we have found. Instead, it looks like it becomes one of the rare Mega Evolutions that change its color. While there are not many, Mega Charizard X, Mega Heracross to some degree, Megaq Latias, Mega Latios and Mega Malamar are the only others that do this.
