How to Remove all Obstacles in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Publish Date: October 19, 2025

One of the most pesky parts of Pokemon Legends Z-A are the many obstacles that stand in your way in Lumiose City. Whether it’s bramble, sludge, or massive boulders, here’s how to remove everything that stands in your way in Pokemon Legends Z-A

How to Remove Every Obstacle in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Removing obstacles across Lumiose City requires you to use some specific moves. Here’s how all obstacles can be dispersed in Pokemon Legends Z-A

  • Boulders: Use the move “Rock Smash”
  • Bramble/Thorns: Use a Fire-type move
  • Purple Sludge: Use a Water-type move
  • Mega Shards: Use any move that deals damage

If you see an obstacle blocking a path, it’s probably a good idea to check out what it’s blocking. There are usually strong items or fun secrets hiding in these areas of Lumiose.

Other than that, any other obstacles or barriers that stand in your way across Lumiose should open up as you progress through the game naturally. Don’t fret!
