Unfortunately, there is only one way to Evolve Kadabra into Alakazam in Pokemon Legends Z-A, trading.

That is right, almost unbelievably, you will have to trade with someone else to get your Huanter to evolve. This does mean that you will need Nintendo Switch Online, which is a paid service. Luckily there are a few options.

1. You can do a 7-day Free Trial of Nintendo Switch Online but this only works one time on each of your accounts.
2. You can pay for a 1 month membership as you play the game which comes out to roughly $3.99 USD for a full 30 days. Do note that they will charge you unless you stop the subscription.
3. You can pay for a year, this is truthfully the best deal, for $19.99 USD for the full year.

Alakazam in Pokemon Legends Z-A

If you do not have someone to trade with or want to risk getting your shiny Kadabra stolen by a random trade partner, you can go find an Alakazam elsewhere in Pokemon Legends Z-A.

You can find an Alpha Alakazam in Wild Zone 20, which is at the end of the game. It will be level 64 or 65 and will be very tough. Sadly this is the only chance you have to get an Alazkazam without trading.
