One of the most tried and true ways to check the strength of your Pokemon is by checking its EVs and IVs, otherwise known as Effort Values and Individual Values. But, are these featured in Pokemon Legends Z-A and, if so, how do you check your Pokemon’s EVs and IVs? Here’s everything you need to know.

You can check your Pokemon’s EVs on the check summary screen in Pokemon Legends Z-A. These will continue to change and update as you defeat other Pokemon in the game, upgrading stats as is typical for Pokemon games.
IVs, however, are a bit trickier to find out in Legends Z-A. In order to check these, you will first need to beat the main storyline in the game and unlock the Judge Function. This will tell you the base IV stats your Pokemon has.
You can also see your Pokemon’s Nature in the Summary screen; however, if you are looking for Abilities, those are not in Legends Z-A.
Hopefully, once you are able to check, you will have some strong Pokemon in your roster. You’ll need them for Ranked Online Multiplayer, which is live now!
