There appears to be a problem at the launch of Pokémon Champions that is preventing players from using their Mega Pokémon. Here are all the details we know so far.
Update: This is not a bug, simply a UI oddity. We have an updated guide here!
Currently, for many players, when you launch Pokémon Champions and have a Mega-eligible Pokémon in your Party, you cannot give them the needed Mega Stone to Mega Evolve in battle.
This is because the Mega Stone does not initially show up on the list of Items. Even if you have bought the Mega Stone in the shop, it will not show up in the dropdown list; you have to continue to tab over to find the Mega Stone tab.

The solution, some in the community have claimed, has to do with the game’s tutorial, which prevents players from using Mega Evolution until it is completed. However, the author of this article has done all of the game’s tutorials and still has no access.

Scroll the item menu over with the L or R button when selecting your items. They’re listed there instead for some reason. Props to PIMPNITE for pointing this out
