Best Vileplume Builds in Pokemon Champions

Vileplume has two main builds in Pokemon Champions. The bulky support build is the most consistent option, while the Chlorophyll build is better on sun teams.

Build 1: Bulky Status Support

This is the main Vileplume build. It focuses on Sleep Powder, recovery and steady Grass and Poison-type damage.

Best Items for Vileplume

Black Sludge is the best item for bulky Vileplume because it gives passive recovery over long games.

Wide Lens is useful on Sleep Powder sets, while Life Orb gives Chlorophyll Vileplume more damage.

Best Pokemon to Pair with Vileplume

Vileplume works best with sun setters, Fire-type partners and Pokemon that handle Psychic and Flying threats.

Ninetales

Sets sun for Chlorophyll and helps pressure Ice and Steel-types.

Charizard

Provides sun and strong Fire pressure for Vileplume teams.

Arcanine

Covers Steel and Ice threats while adding Intimidate support.

What Vileplume Is Good Against

Vileplume is strong against Water, Ground, Rock, Grass and Fairy-type Pokemon. It can also disrupt teams with Sleep Powder.

Chlorophyll sets become much more dangerous under sun, while bulky sets can survive long enough to keep draining health.

Potential Counters for Vileplume

Vileplume is threatened by Fire, Flying, Psychic and Ice-type attacks. Taunt and Safety Goggles-style counterplay also reduce its disruption.

Alakazam

Threatens Vileplume with strong Psychic-type attacks.

Pidgeot

Pressures Vileplume with Flying-type damage.

Charizard

Can overwhelm Vileplume with Fire and Flying pressure.
