Umbreon has two main builds in Pokemon Champions. The bulky support build is the standard option, while the special wall build is better into teams with heavy special damage.
This is the main Umbreon build. It uses high bulk, disruption and recovery to slow down opposing attackers.
| Item | Leftovers or Sitrus Berry |
|---|---|
| Ability | Synchronize |
| Nature | Careful, +Sp. Def and -Sp. Atk |
| Moves | Foul Play, Helping Hand, Yawn, Protect |
| Stat Point Spread | HP: 32 / Defense: 12 / Sp. Def: 18 |
This version leans harder into special bulk. Use it when Umbreon needs to check special attackers and keep supporting allies.

Umbreon stats are shown below for easy comparison.
Leftovers is the best item for longer games because it gives Umbreon steady recovery.
Sitrus Berry is safer when Umbreon needs immediate healing after taking a big hit.
Umbreon works best with Pokemon that cover its weaknesses, support its preferred speed control or help it find safer turns.
Umbreon is strong against Psychic and Ghost-type Pokemon. It is also useful against physical attackers because Foul Play punishes high Attack stats.
Yawn, Snarl and Helping Hand let Umbreon support teammates even when it is not dealing direct damage.
Umbreon is threatened by Fighting, Bug and Fairy-type damage. It can also become passive if opponents ignore it and target its partners.
Umbreon can learn Dark, Normal, Psychic and support moves across different Pokemon games. Use the section below to view the full move list by learn method.
