Typhlosion has two main builds in Pokemon Champions. The Eruption attacker is the strongest offensive option, while the Blaze attacker is better when Typhlosion cannot stay at full HP.
This is the main Typhlosion build. It uses high-power Fire-type spread damage while Typhlosion is healthy.

Typhlosion stats are shown below for easy comparison.
Choice Scarf is the best item for fast Eruption sets because it lets Typhlosion attack before taking damage.
Charcoal boosts Fire-type attacks without locking Typhlosion into one move, while Life Orb gives broader damage.
Typhlosion works best with Pokemon that cover its weaknesses, support its preferred speed control or help it find safer turns.
Sets sun and improves Typhlosion’s Fire-type damage.
Provides Tailwind and Taunt support for fast offensive teams.
Covers Water, Rock and Ground-type Pokemon that threaten Typhlosion.
Typhlosion is strong against Grass, Bug, Steel and Ice-type Pokemon. Eruption can punish teams that do not have immediate Fire resists or speed control.
Sun support turns Typhlosion into a much more dangerous special attacker.
Typhlosion is threatened by Water, Rock and Ground-type attacks. It also loses a lot of damage once it takes chip damage on Eruption sets.
Sets rain and weakens Typhlosion’s Fire-type attacks.
Takes Fire-type attacks well and threatens back with Water-type damage.
Can outspeed or pressure Typhlosion with Rock-type attacks.
Typhlosion can learn Fire, Normal, Fighting, Psychic and coverage moves across different Pokemon games. Use the section below to view the full move list by learn method.
