Best Items for Meganium

Leftovers is the best item for support builds because it gives Meganium steady recovery.

Sitrus Berry offers immediate healing, while Miracle Seed improves Grass-type damage.

Best Pokemon to Pair with Meganium

Meganium works best with Pokemon that cover its weaknesses, support its preferred speed control or help it find safer turns.

Arcanine

Covers Ice and Bug-type threats while adding Intimidate support.

Azumarill

Covers Fire-type pressure and appreciates Meganium’s Grass support.

Ampharos

Pressures Flying-types and supports slower bulky teams.

What Meganium Is Good Against

Meganium is strong against Water, Ground and Rock-type Pokemon. Its support tools make it useful on teams that want longer, more stable games.

Leech Seed and Helping Hand let Meganium create value even when it is not scoring knockouts directly.

Potential Counters for Meganium

Meganium is threatened by Fire, Ice, Flying, Bug and Poison-type attacks. It can also struggle to make progress against teams that ignore its support pressure.

Typhlosion

Threatens Meganium with strong Fire-type damage.

Ariados

Pressures Meganium with Bug and Poison-type attacks.

Dragonite

Resists Grass-type attacks and can threaten Meganium with Flying coverage.
