Pokemon Champions Build Guide
Kangaskhan is best used as a physical attacker in Pokemon Champions. Its strongest builds focus on consistent Normal-type pressure, priority and broad coverage.

Kangaskhan has two main builds in Pokemon Champions. The Mega build is the stronger offensive option, while the non-Mega build is more flexible when another Pokemon needs the Mega slot.
This is the main Kangaskhan build. It uses Mega Evolution to apply immediate physical pressure and punish frailer teams.
| Item | Kangaskhanite |
|---|---|
| Ability | Parental Bond after Mega Evolution |
| Nature | Jolly, +Speed and -Sp. Atk |
| Moves | Fake Out, Double-Edge, Power-Up Punch, Protect |
| Stat Point Spread | HP: 8 / Attack: 28 / Speed: 26 |
This version keeps Kangaskhan useful without using the Mega slot. It focuses on Fake Out support and dependable coverage.
| Item | Silk Scarf or Sitrus Berry |
|---|---|
| Ability | Scrappy |
| Nature | Adamant, +Attack and -Sp. Atk |
| Moves | Fake Out, Return, Sucker Punch, Protect |
| Stat Point Spread | HP: 20 / Attack: 30 / Speed: 12 |
Kangaskhan stats are shown below for easy comparison.
Kangaskhanite is the best item for the main build because it enables Mega Kangaskhan and gives it much higher offensive value.
Silk Scarf boosts Normal-type attacks on non-Mega sets, while Sitrus Berry gives more staying power.
Kangaskhan works best with Pokemon that cover its weaknesses, support its preferred speed control or help it find safer turns.
Kangaskhan is strong against frail offensive teams and Pokemon that dislike Fake Out pressure. Its Normal-type damage is broadly useful when opponents lack strong resistances.
Mega Kangaskhan can also snowball quickly if it gets safe Power-Up Punch turns.
Kangaskhan is threatened by Fighting-type Pokemon, burns and bulky physical walls. Ghost-types can also make its Normal-type attacks harder to use.
