Best Items for Glalie

Glalitite is the best item for the main build because Mega Glalie gives much stronger Ice-type offensive pressure.

Focus Sash is the safest utility item because Glalie is vulnerable to many common attacking types.

Best Pokemon to Pair with Glalie

Glalie works best with Pokemon that cover its weaknesses, support its preferred speed control or help it find safer turns.

Metagross

Covers Rock, Steel and Fairy-type threats for Glalie.

Sharpedo

Benefits from Glalie pressuring Grass and Dragon-type Pokemon.

Camerupt

Pressures Steel-type Pokemon that resist Ice.

What Glalie Is Good Against

Glalie is strong against Grass, Ground, Flying and Dragon-type Pokemon. Ice Shard gives it useful priority against weakened targets.

Icy Wind gives utility sets a way to support teammates through speed control.

Potential Counters for Glalie

Glalie is threatened by Fire, Fighting, Rock and Steel-type attacks. It also has trouble surviving without Focus Sash or Mega offensive pressure.

Blaziken

Threatens Glalie with Fire and Fighting-type damage.

Metagross

Resists Ice-type attacks and pressures Glalie with Steel-type damage.

Aggron

Takes Ice-type attacks well and threatens Glalie with Rock or Steel-type damage.
