Castform has two main builds in Pokemon Champions. The weather utility build is the safest option, while the offensive weather attacker gives Castform more direct pressure.
This is the main Castform build. It uses weather moves and flexible coverage to support teams that care about sun, rain or hail.

| Ability | Forecast |
| Nature | Timid, +Speed and -Attack |
| Moves | Weather Ball, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Protect |

Castform stats are shown below for easy comparison.
Focus Sash is the safest item because Castform is fragile and needs help surviving long enough to set weather.
Life Orb is the best item for offensive weather sets that need stronger damage.
Castform works best with Pokemon that cover its weaknesses, support its preferred speed control or help it find safer turns.
Sets rain and helps Castform use rain-boosted Weather Ball.
Sets sun and enables Fire-type Weather Ball pressure.
Benefits from sun support and weather control.
Castform is useful against teams that struggle with changing weather and flexible coverage. Its value comes from utility more than raw stats.
Weather Ball lets Castform change its attacking type based on active weather.
Castform is threatened by strong neutral hits and faster attackers. Its low stats mean it usually needs Focus Sash and a clear weather plan.
Castform can learn Normal, Fire, Water, Ice, Electric, Grass and weather moves across different Pokemon games. Use the section below to view the full move list by learn method.

Castform is worth using only if your team specifically wants flexible weather utility.
It is niche, so most teams should use dedicated weather setters unless Castform’s flexibility is important.
