Pokemon Champions Build Guide
Blaziken is best used as a fast physical or mixed attacker in Pokemon Champions. Its strongest builds focus on Speed Boost, Fire and Fighting-type pressure and late-game cleanup.

Page Status: This Blaziken build guide will be updated when new Pokemon Champions regulations, items, buffs or nerfs change its best set.
Blaziken has two main builds in Pokemon Champions. The Speed Boost attacker is the safest option, while the Mega build gives it much stronger sweeping potential.
This is the main Blaziken build. It uses Speed Boost to become faster each turn while threatening strong Fire and Fighting-type attacks.
| Item | Life Orb or Focus Sash |
|---|---|
| Ability | Speed Boost |
| Nature | Adamant, +Attack and -Sp. Atk |
| Moves | Flare Blitz, Close Combat, Rock Slide, Protect |
| Stat Point Spread | Attack: 32 / Sp. Def: 4 / Speed: 28 |
This version uses Mega Evolution to push Blaziken’s damage and Speed even higher. It works best when checks are weakened first.
| Item | Blazikenite |
|---|---|
| Ability | Speed Boost after Mega Evolution |
| Nature | Jolly, +Speed and -Sp. Atk |
| Moves | Flare Blitz, High Jump Kick, Swords Dance, Protect |
| Stat Point Spread | HP: 6 / Attack: 32 / Speed: 24 |
Blaziken stats are shown below for easy comparison.
Life Orb is the best damage item for non-Mega Blaziken.
Blazikenite is the best item for the Mega build because it makes Blaziken a stronger late-game sweeper.
Blaziken works best with Pokemon that cover its weaknesses, support its preferred speed control or help it find safer turns.
Blaziken is strong against Grass, Ice, Steel, Bug, Normal, Rock and Dark-type Pokemon. Speed Boost makes it especially dangerous over multiple turns.
Protect is important because it lets Blaziken gain Speed safely.
Blaziken is threatened by Water, Ground, Flying and Psychic-type attacks. It also wears itself down quickly with recoil and Life Orb damage.
Blaziken can learn Fire, Fighting, Rock, Flying and coverage moves across different Pokemon games. Use the section below to view the full move list by learn method.
