Best Primarina Stats, Moves, Natures, and Abilities in Pokémon Champions

Primarina is a Pokemon that is able to live through more than you think while being able to hit multiple opponents with its many spread moves.

Here are two suggested builds. One will be the main meta build and the other an off-meta option.

Build 1: Calm Mind Primarina

This build focuses on the more meta build with the ability to set up Calm Mind while hitting multiple opponents with Hyper Voice (Water because of Liquid Voice) and Dazzling Gleam.

  • Move 1: Hyper Voice

  • Move 4: Dazzling Gleam

Nature: Modest (+Sp. Atk | – Atk) Ability: Liquid Voice

Best Items for Primarina in Pokémon Champions

  • Build 1 Best Item: Mystic Water
  • Build 2 Best Items: Mystic Water

There are builds that have Leftovers but most of the time, there are Pokemon that need that item more than Primarina in most regulations.

Best Pokémon Synergies to Pair with Primarina in Pokémon Champions

Primarina benefits from teammates that help provide it with offensive support from its type weaknesses.

  • Incineroar: Provides Intimidate and positioning support. Generally considered to be one of the best Pokemon in the current Meta.
  • Garchomp: Poison and Electric Pokemon are the bane of Primarina’s existence. Luckily Garchomp deals with both effectively.
  • Sinistcha: Another great support option that can redirect attacks with Rage Powder and set up Trick Room to help Primarina move first.

Potential Counters for Primarina in Pokémon Champions

Primarina is vulnerable to Electric, Grass and Poison Pokemon and can be very susceptible to getting out-sped.

  • Sneasler: In any format that Sneasler is available, it should be used against Primarina. It is faster and Dire Claw can put Primarina in a dire situation.
  • Venusaur: This Pokemon is incredibly bulky and has all of the tools to take down Primarina and easily beat it in a battle of attrition.
  • Archaludon: Another S-Tier Pokemon in our Tier List, Archaludon loses its Fairy Type weakness thanks to its Steel typing and being in rain, Electro Shot can be devastating.

Teams that are able to control the speed game or that have strong Poison types will be a problem for Primarina.
