Best Froslass Stats, Moves, Natures, and Abilities in Pokemon Champions

Froslass thrives as a weather-setting special attacker with strong Ice and Ghost coverage and team defenses as well. It mostly functions as an Ice weather-setter in order to use Blizzard then Aurora Veil.

Here are two suggested builds.

Build 1: Blizzard Mega Froslass

This build focuses on the more meta build with the Snow Warning Setup after Mega Evolving and spamming Blizzard.

  • Move 1: Blizzard
  • Move 2: Shadow Ball
  • Move 3: Protect
  • Move 4: Aurora Veil

Nature: Timid (+Speed | -Atk) Ability: Curse Body –> Snow Warning

Best Stat Point Spread:

  • Sp. Atk – 32
  • Speed – 32
  • HP – 2

This version focuses on getting off a Nasty Plot and then Spamming Blizzard with a Substitute setup.

  • Move 1: Blizzard
  • Move 2: Shadow Ball
  • Move 3: Substitute
  • Move 4: Nasty Plot

Nature: Timid (+Speed | -Atk) Ability: Curse Body –> Snow Warning

Best Stat Point Spread:

  • Sp. Atk – 32
  • Speed – 32
  • HP – 2

Best Pokémon Synergies to Pair with Froslass in Pokémon Champions

Froslass benefits from teammates that help keep it alive and those that can even redirect attacks.

  • Incineroar: Provides Intimidate and positioning support. Generally considered to be the best Pokemon in the current Meta.
  • Basculegion (Male): A great offensive option to pair with Froslass that can take out Fire Pokemon and plays well into Rain teams.
  • Garchomp: A true physically offensive powerhouse that matches well with the special attack-focused Froslass.

Potential Counters for Froslass in Pokémon Champions

Froslass is vulnerable to Steel, Fire, Dark, Ghost and Rock. Also, it has problems with losing the Snow.

  • Tyranitar: Rock and Dark are quite the combo and when it runs Sand Stream (which it normally does) it can completely counter your Snow.
  • Drampa: Cloud Nine is no fun for Froslass and will absolutely stop your entire plan.
  • Archaludon: Often plays with a Rain team and has strong Steel moves that can OHKO.

Teams that can control the weather better than you or that are full of Steel types will be problematic.
