Overwatch’s spookiest seasonal event is right around the corner, and it is sure to bring some absolutely thrilling skins along with it. But, with the latest Bastion Brick event having just ended and some big patch notes coming soon, when can players expect the Halloween event to officially get underway?

Probable Start Date

October 15

The Overwatch team may wait to release this event on the same day as Overwatch is anticipated to come to the Nintendo Switch. Pairing these two things could help with promotion and give new Switch players some exciting skins and PvE to keep them engaged right from the start. This would be the latest that the Halloween Terror event has ever started, but is still a possibility considering the circumstances.

This is also normally when Overwatch patches go out. In the past, Tuesdays have been when seemingly everything major happens in terms of updating the game. If this were the case, it would allow the event to go a good full three weeks or so before ending.

The wait has been long and one can only hope that this means that Jeff Kaplan and the Overwatch team have something amazing planned. If not, then it is likely there will be a lot of pretty upset fans.

The Game Haus will continue to provide updates into when this event will be starting, as well as plenty of other Overwatch and OWL news on the Overwatch tab of the website.
