The Washington Justice announced today that they will round out their 2020 coaching staff with Seung-jun “Sup7eme” Han and Hae-joon “Wiz” Lee. In a series of tweets, the Justice revealed that Sup7eme will serve as a development coach, while Wiz will serve as a strategic coach.
Prior to joining the Justice, Sup7eme coached the Hangzhou Spark as one of the team’s assistant coaches. Alongside Mu-ho “Mask” Lee, Hang “YinDong” Gao and Congshan “U4” Chen, he helped lead the team to a fourth-place finish in their Overwatch League debut. Before his time on the Spark, Sup7eme coached the Korean Contenders team Seven, which he also founded.
Wiz joins the Washington Justice after spending a year coaching the North American Contenders team XL2 Academy. He coached the team alongside Jonathan “Jon” Tran, and the two most recently led their team to a spot in The Gauntlet, where they ultimately fell to ATL Academy.
The two coaching additions follow a series of changes to Washington’s organization in the offseason. Shortly after the offseason began, the Justice announced the departure of their entire 2019 coaching staff. Soon after, former Los Angeles Gladiators coach Seetoh “JohnGalt” Jian Qing joined as the team’s head coach. As Washington continues to go through an overhaul at every level, it’s safe to say they’re making moves to ensure success in the 2020 season.
The Game Haus will continue to track the Overwatch League’s offseason moves in its master list of changes, and through individual pieces.
