Washington Justice Sponsor, Events DC, Partners With Drink Company to Open Pop-Up Bar Celebrating D.C. Esports

Esports Bar D.C.

In a tweet yesterday, Events DC announced an upcoming VIP night for a new esports pop-up bar that will be the first of its kind in the Washington D.C. region called Levels Unlocked: House of DC Heroes. This new pop-up bar is set to open on July 18 and will honor all of the Washington D.C. esports franchises, including the Washington Justice.

One of the feature drinks at the pop-up is called Tracer’s Cup, a drink made with Pimm’s in honor of her British roots along with sherry, ginger, and lemon Perrier.

The pop-up will remain open until September 29 and will feature various programming introduced by Events DC including watch parties, meet & greets with esports players and more creating the ultimate immersive gaming destination. It will feature three distinct spaces paying tribute to DC’s esports entities: NB2K’s Wizards District Gaming, NRG’s Nairo from Smash and the Overwatch League’s newest team, the Washington Justice.

Celebrating the Future of D.C. Esports

“As one of the few cities across the globe, to proactively promote and support its local dedicated esports teams, Washington, DC is excited to showcase our innovative and forward-thinking initiative through House of DC Heroes in collaboration with Derek Brown and his immersive pop-up bar experience. This is another prime example of our efforts in marking the District a hub for esports,” said Gregory A. O’Dell, president and chief executive officer of Events DC. “We believe, esports is the future –and our partnerships allow us to position DC on a global stage to attract new and exciting industries, events and visitors to the city.”

With this pop-up bar and the announcement of the five coming OWL homestands to the D.C. area, the city is shaping up to be one of the premiere hubs in esports.

Levels Unlocked: House of DC Heroes will be hosted at Pop-Up Bar DC on 1843 7th Street NW on Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, September 29. Hours: Sunday through Thursday 5:00 pm – 12:30 am; Friday and Saturday 5:00 pm – 1:30 am. For more information, visit
