In what is looking like the next in a series of dominoes to fall. The Vancouver Titans today announced the departure of Head Coach Hwang “Pajion” Jisub.
We’ve made the difficult decision today to mutually part ways with head coach Hwang ‘PaJion’ Jisub. Hwang helped us grow into a championship-caliber team in a short period of time and we are grateful for the contributions he has made to our organization. We wish him all the best. pic.twitter.com/8ELVTJptlc

This announcement coming not long after the release of Hyeonwoo “JJANU” Choi looks to be evidence enough that the rumors of trouble in paradise likely hold weight. Though each post states “Mutually” parted ways it does not seem to be on the most favorable of terms. This is the man who led this team from contenders champions to Overwatch League heavyweights. Bringing out stellar play from each player on the roster. Turning this beloved band of brothers into a true Force of Nature.
What the Future Holds
In the coming days with the advent of sure to be more announcements from the team, the organization will need to improve its functions of communication with its community. The radio silence during a time such as this has left the fandom in a state of great distress. Desperately grasping for answers of any kind.
What does it mean for the future of the Titans? At this time it is really impossible to say, but fans’ hearts will be broken. A family and a legacy like few others in the professional Overwatch scene is crumbling before their very eyes. One can only hope the pieces will be able to be put back together.
