Anthony Muraco has been named the new Director of Business Operations for the Vancouver Titans. Muraco joins the Titans from Cavs Legion, the NBA 2K League franchise of the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers. The NBA 2K League wrapped up its second season in August, with T-Wolves gaming taking home the title. Muraco has worked in the 2K League since its inception, first with Mavs GG before joining Cavs Legion in 2018.

The Vancouver Titans are currently getting their first taste of playoff action in the Overwatch League after compiling the league’s best record in their expansion season. The Titans are the only esports venture for their parent org, the Aqulini Group, but Muraco would help oversee expansion into any new titles. Vancouver is currently operated in a partnership with Canadian esports organization Luminosity Gaming. Thanks to their strong start and the OWL franchise rights for the entire Pacific Northwest, the Titans are one of the most attractive teams in the Overwatch League.
Starting in 2020, the OWL will move from its current home in the Blizzard Arena in Burbank to a homestand model, where teams will host weekend events at venues in their home cities. For the Titans, that means games in Rogers Arena, the home of the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks who are also owned by the Aquilini Group. Muraco will be a crucial addition as the Titans prepare for local activation in 2020.
