Vancouver Titans Part Ways with Three Titans

Vancouver Titans Player News

It may have taken a few days, but the off-season axe finally swung into British Columbia. The Vancouver Titans player news bus took off as the team announced via Twitter the departure of three players who joined the team in the midseason rebuild.

The time for goodbyes has come to the¬†Titans¬†family once more. Alhumaidi “KSAA” Alruwaili, Carson¬†“CarCar”¬†First and Samir¬†“Tsuna” Ikram came to the¬†Titans during a difficult time. When they joined, fans of the team were in disarray following the collapse of the storied former team. Hope was at an all-time low. Yet these fine young men brought a glimmer of that hope back to the fledgling franchise.

KSAA was a very promising prospect coming to the league from EU contenders, and Team Saudi Arabia in the 2019 Overwatch World Cup. There he showed a very impressive Sigma and was looking like someone with immense potential for greatness. Ping issues may have been the bane of his time on the Titans but he was still able to look fearsome. The fans will surely miss this High-Ping-King.

Tsuna was yet another young prospect out of the EU who has spent time on teams like the British Hurricane and Eternal Academy. His time on the Titans was also sadly marred by ping issues, and in the games he played, despite some potential, he did struggle to really shine. His time in contenders showed him as one with vast potential so, hopefully, on a new roster, he will have the chance to prove himself once again.

CarCar was a player familiar with success. He spent a fair bit of time playing for the legendary Fusion University and Atlanta Academy teams prior to his stint with the Titans. His first foray into the Overwatch League saw him get off to a slow start. Yet as the weeks progressed he began to noticeably improve. Showing signs of returning to form on heroes such as his signature Lucio and his vicious Brigitte. Fans will miss him, yet he will remain true to his last name in their hearts.

What Comes Next

The 2020 Offseason is still in its infancy alas so the future is unclear. Will this be the end of the players leaving the team? Only time will tell as the Vancouver Titans player news bus has just begun its journey. However, fans will always remember when these men were Titans.
