The Toronto Defiant have announced on Twitter that they have signed former Boston Uprising support player Kristian “Kellex”
Keller. Kellex was one of the last original members of the Boston Uprising before being released
among several players. He also recently competed in the Overwatch World Cup for team Denmark who would secure a Top 6 finish.
The Toronto Defiant are nearly close to announcing the completed roster for the 2020 season, and the team is looking good. With newly signed high profile players like Brady “Agilities” Girardi and Lane “Surefour” Roberts as well as returning talent in Andreas “Logix” Berghmans, the team has a good shot at finishing within the top 12. However, with teams like the Seoul Dynasty and the Paris Eternal making big moves as well as the ever dominate New York Excelsior and the San Francisco Shock still looking dominant, the road ahead won’t be easy. With international travel, no Stage playoffs and so many fresh rosters, the 2020 season could be the most exciting season yet. Time will tell if the Defiant are up to the challenge.
