Following
his former Valiant teammate Young-seo “KariV”
Park, Brady “Agilities”
Girardi will be joining the Toronto Defiant for the 2020 season.
The move was leaked among others from a video featuring multiple members from the Overwatch League.
Agilities has been a member of the Valiant for as long as they have officially been a team. He would help lead the team to a 4th place finish during the Inaugural Season. He was also instrumental in turning around the team after a lackluster start to the 2019 season. His Pharah and Genji are widely regarded as some of the best the West has to offer. He also has been a staple member of Team Canada for the Overwatch World Cup ever since 2017. And if all of that wasn’t enough, he also hosted Gamer Snacks alongside KariV for the Valiant.
Toronto have shown that they are not only willing to make moves, but fairly large moves at that. And with more rumored moves to come soon, the Defiant are looking to be a fierce contender for a playoff slot in the 2020 season.
