Summer Showdown Overwatch Skin Revealed: Haroeris Ana

As was previously announced, Overwatch will be getting new skins with each Overwatch League tournament. The May Melee featured Mei as an MMA Boxer. The June Joust had Angel of Death Widowmaker. Now people have been wonder who and what would the Summer Showdown Overwatch skin be? Well, it has been revealed as Haroeris Ana, a new legendary for the sniper healer.

Here is a look at the new Haroeris Ana skin.

Summer Showdown Ana Skin

The interesting part about this skin is that it has nothing to do with the Summer Showdown. Many thought the skin might have to do with something a bit more Summer oriented. The skin does have a feel of a goddess and an Egyptian warrior theme. This is due to the fact that Haroeris translates roughly to the Egyptian god Horus, which is why she has bird theme. One can see from the legs to the taloned hands and even on Ana’s helmet that she resembles a bird like Horus. Also since Ana is from Egypt this theme suits her well.

Some of the Ana skins have been bird themes in the past which might be problematic for some. Considering the dev team has mostly moved onto Overwatch 2 it is surprising that every skin they are doing lately looks incredible. Clearly they are putting in a lot of time to conceptualize these skins and bring them to the Overwatch fans. And considering no other content is really coming out for the base game, it is nice to see the skins aren’t getting thrown to the side.

There is no doubt the Haroeris Ana skin, will definitely be a fan-favorite skin going forward. Fans can get this skins from July 6-19.
