Fearless back with Shanghai on Team CC

Publish Date: April 12, 2019

The Shanghai Dragons shared sad news back in February that Eui-Seok “Fearless” Lee would travel back to South Korea. Being one of the players that came to the Dragons in the inaugural season, it left a hole in the main tank slot that would later be filled by Young-jin “Gamsu” Noh. The team didn’t disclose what exactly the reason was, except for the phrase, “health condition.” 63 days later, the Dragons announced that Fearless would be playing for Team CC. Team CC is the academy team for the Dragons in Contenders.

Shanghai later explained in the thread of tweets that Fearless has recently recovered from an injury. Both Fearless and Shanghai expressed interest in returning, and this is an excellent first step. The Dragons did excellent work acquiring Gamsu soon after the news, and there’s no rush to get back to an OWL level. Gamsu was an All-Star last season in the league, and he’s done a terrific job this season as the main tank.

This will allow Fearless to take however much time he needs on Team CC, and even take a break (God forbid) if the injury surfaces again. He’ll be an excellent addition to Shanghai’s depth chart if he can work back to his original form.
