On Tuesday, June 21, the San Francisco Shock added another weapon to their already dominant roster. Taiyo “Tay1o” Henderson joins the Shock after playing in NA Contenders with Third Impact.
During his time in NA Contenders, Ta1yo helped bring Third Impact multiple top-2 finishes. Ta1yo also spend time in the Contenders Pacific region. In 2018, he played with CYCLOPS and finished 2nd overall, and in 2019 he joined Jupiter, where the team finished in the top 4.

The San Francisco Shock add Ta1yo in hopes to have a dedicated Genji player for the rest of the season. While Matthew “Super” DeLisi played moderately ok against Boston, there is no doubt the team is excited to bring in the playmaker from Contenders.
