Well this didn’t take very long.

4-0verwatch has been a running joke for a while within the community now, but it has really taken center stage this postseason. This is in large part thanks to the San Francisco Shock, who have been absolutely ravaging through the loser’s bracket.

This is another of the all too common times where the map score doesn’t tell the whole story. The NYXL did manage to keep it close on basically every map that was played, although there was a universal trend of the XL running out of gas towards the end of each map. This would, in the end, be their undoing; the Shock put the pedal down and never let up.

This means that the NYXL have a solid 3rd place going for them. But that’s all. That’s as far as they can go.

Next up: San Francisco Shock vs. Vancouver Titans

The season will, fittingly, end in this marquis matchup. The Shock and the Titans, who are considered by many to be two of the strongest teams in Overwatch history, has quickly become a good rivalry, and they have been trading blows all season, oftentimes in stage finals and in other important matches. This will likely go down to the wire, as these games have in the past. Don’t miss this, it could be historic for Overwatch.
