Today, the Philadelphia Fusion announced that they have parted ways with Josh “Eqo” Corona.
For the past two years, Eqo has been a prominent member of the Philadelphia Fusion. Although he joined the team late due to visa issues, he quickly became one of the Fusion’s shining stars. An incredibly talented DPS player, his Pharah gameplay was one of the highlights of the Fusion’s inaugural season. Alongside Jae-hyeok “Carpe” Lee, the DPS duo became unstoppable. Fans did not get to see Eqo shine as much this season due to the constraints of GOATS. However, even with the meta shift, the Fusion continued to struggle for various reasons. Eqo has proven himself to be a talented player and a strong leader, and any team would be lucky to have him on their roster.
As of now, the Fusion have not announced his replacement, nor has there been any news indicating where Eqo might end up.
As a reminder, all of the current offseason changes will be continuously updated in TGH’s Complete List of Overwatch League Offseason Moves.
