The Philadelphia Fusion leave the Justice homestand with a statement victory and a heart attack inducing second win that Fusion fans are very familiar with. The statement came against the NYXL, beating them 3-1 and solidifying their early season dominance. The Fusion followed up with their second win, 3-2 against a sleeper in the Toronto Defiant. They travel to Houston next week for the Outlaws Homestand. There they will have on their radar, the Boston Uprising.
Philadelphia Fusion (4-0) vs Boston Uprising (1-1)
Some fans loved the Uprising seven map set against a fellow bottom team in the Houston Outlaws and some just wanted to get it over with. Boston took the upper hand early. They appeared to be on the way to a very quick 3-0 sweep, then had difficulty finishing out. Coming into this week, The Game Haus ranked the Outlaws and the Uprising at 19 and 20 respectively. The Fusion come into this single game weekend looking great, especially after their NYXL victory.
Taking care of business in Houston should prove to be an easy task for the Fusion. If there is anything that gets in the way of the Fusion winning, it’s their ego. The Fusion needs to respect the Uprising and their potential and not come into the game thinking this will be an easy win. They will need to continue their dominant play and keep the pedal to the metal the entire match against a team trying to find their identity.
Player To Watch
Carpe is the player to watch this weekend. He has looked very strong so far in every game this season. Look for him to take advantage of a lower-skilled team this week.
Prediction: Fusion win 3-0
