“Path To Pro” Esports Event Happening Friday In Philadelphia

Localhost Philly, the company behind the location of Philadelphia’s newest mural is throwing an Overwatch esports event this Friday, February 14th. Localhost is teaming up with Marisa Magnatta from the Preston and Steve Morning Show on WMMR Philadelphia and host of FTW Philly to help host the event.

Event Details

The event starts from 4 PM to 6 PM EST and will include the following activities:

1. Meet players and staff from the Philadelphia Fusion and Houston Outlaws
   • Roston Yoo – Philadelphia Fusion GM
   • Isaac “Boombox” Charles – Philadelphia Fusion support player
   • Daniel “Boink” Pence – Houston Outlaws support player
   • Matt “Flame” Rodriguez – Houston Outlaws GM
2. Join a panel featuring executives behind Nerd Street and WGN
   • Rob Johnson – COO of Nerd Street Gamers
   • Wim Stock – CEO of WGN and CSL

The panel with players and executives will be on the subject of going pro in esports and what steps individuals can take to achieve their dream.
