On Sunday April 12, the Paris Eternal announced via Twitter that rookie DPS superstar, Jung “Xzi” Gi-Hyo, would be returning to Korea due to “severe neck pain”.
Hello,
We inform you that our dear @xzi_ow had to return to South Korea to treat severe neck pain. Xzi wishes to return to the competition at the end of his treatment.
Let’s wish him a good recovery ❤️#FiatLux

Xzi was last seen on stage in week 5, when the Eternal first faced off against the Philadelphia Fusion. For their last two matches, the Eternal have fielded Terence “SoOn” Tarlier and Nicolas “NicoGDH” Moret over him. Although the French DPS duo have proven that they can hold their own, this lead fans to begin speculating about why Xzi has not been playing.
According to the announcement, Xzi plans to return to the competition “at the end of his treatment.” At this time, the Eternal’s next match is still to be determined.
