As the Paris Eternal head to Las Vegas for the 2023 season, they are bringing in a new Head Coach along with them. On Friday November 25, the Paris Eternal announced the signing of Diana “Empress” W as the newest Head Coach for the 2023 season. Empress has found loads of success coaching in both North American and EMEA Contenders, and now will look to continue that trend as they move on up into the Overwatch League.
Empress has spent the fast few years coaching in both Contenders North America and Contenders Europe. While she has spent time working with several different teams, Empress has found the most success with Falcon Esports and The Ultimates in Contenders EU, and with Odyssey in Contenders NA. The vast amount of Contenders experience should help out the new Overwatch League Head Coach.

Empress joins a team where she already has some familiarity with the roster. Empress has previously worked with the current Eternal support line of Kyle “Rakattack” Rakauskas and Luke “Lukemino” Fish, as well as the current DPS line of Jesse “Dove” Palomo and Josh “Malthel” Gonzales. As the majority of the roster have familiarity with one another, the Eternal may have an upper hand heading into the 2023 season as they already have that synergy from past play.
Eternal fans will be hoping for improved results as the team heads to Vegas for the sixth season of the Overwatch League.
