Overwatch League Experts & Analysis Week 4 Power Rankings

A month has gone by in the 2020 Overwatch League season and yet many are still debating which teams are truly the best at the current moment. Compile the fact that five of the 20 teams have yet to play with the newly added weekly hero bans and it can become quickly overwhelming for fans at home to know where each team stands in terms of overall power.

To better gauge how the season’s start and the new introduction of hero pools will affect the landscape of the league, the author has polled 12 other experts in the scene to form a cumulative power ranking. This is a gauge of how strong the teams currently are in the league, leaving out the teams that have not yet played due to lack of information. Each contributor’s ranks can be seen on this spreadsheet, with a full list also provided below.

With some heavy disparity for some teams and some outright unanimous picks for others, this set of rankings proves to be a good litmus test for how those closest to the heartbeat of the OWL read its pulse. But, as with all power rankings, fans will simply have to wait and see whose rankings come out on top as the season continues to progress.
