Overwatch is Reportedly Getting it’s own Cartoon

Lights, camera, action! According to a report first put out by James O’Connor with Gamespot, Overwatch will be getting an animated cartoon series and Diablo will be getting an anime-style series on Netflix at some point in the future. Although details of the project are slim, it’s looking like the wheels have begun to turn on the project.

This sort of thing has been rumored to have been on the way for some time, stemming from the multiple animated shorts Blizzard has produced for Overwatch in years past. Although there’s nothing confirmed as far as the project’s content is concerned, the animation style will likely match others that have been made in the past, featuring heroes and maps from the Overwatch universe.

This project is currently in pre-production, according to the initial report, so it will likely be quite some time before more is released about it. Until then, stay tuned here at The Game Haus for more news and information about when each of the shows will make their debut.
