Today an image of what appears to be a new line of Hot Wheels toy cars themed around several Overwatch heroes was spread across social media. These appear to have been first posted by @OverwatchNaeri which is an account linked to Overwatch Korea. The account has posted reliable leaks in the past, which leads to believe that these new Hot Wheels may be the real deal.
Below is an image of the new toys posted by the account above. It features Hot Wheels for Tracer, D.Va, Reinhardt, Roadhog and Soldier: 76.
However, with Overwatch 2 on the horizon, these cars don’t appear to use the newer character models that the sequel will feature. This could either indicate that they may not be legitimate, or that they are simply going to release them with the older models.
No other information is available concerning their release date, cost or anything else to confirm their validity at this time. However, with Overwatch’s Competitive Season 19 and Winter Wonderland event about to wrap up, there could be a time coming where Overwatch will release these new toys.
Until then, stay tuned for more news and updates here at The Game Haus.
