Overwatch: Hangzhou Spark Finishes Their Lineup

Publish Date: November 21, 2018

Hype is starting to build up in the Overwatch community. The new teams in the League are revealing their rosters little by little, and with three and a half months left to start the new Season, they’ll have enough time to scrim before their debut games.

The team that gained immediate fans and had people going crazy on social media over their colors, the Hangzhou Spark, has finished showing their full roster. Earlier this week they revealed part of their tank squad, you can see that announcement here, but now we take a look at the rest of their players.

Bringing Up The Shields

Seong-Wook “Ria” Park comes from team X6-Gaming. They managed to achieve first place in Contenders Korea Season 1, and got 5-8th in Season 2. Known for his D.Va, he will be Hangzhou’s flex tank, eating ultimates left and right.

Jae-hwan “Adora” Kang hails from team Seven, which placed 5-8th on Contenders Korea Season 1 and    9-10th in Season 2. He will be placed in Flex, but will most likely be playing DPS for having Hanzo and Tracer as his most notable Heroes.

Dropping Bodies Left and Right

Kyeong-bo “GodsB” Kim is being recruited from X6-Gaming, so he will be joining his teammates Ria and Da-un “NoSmite” Jeong. He will be the team’s Genji specialist, cutting up people with his Dragonblade.

Jun-Ki “Bazzi” Park will come from team Seven, same as Adora. He will bring his deadly skills on Heroes like McCree, Widowmaker and Tracer to wreak chaos against anyone who plays against him.

If you want to know more about NoSmite, we wrote about him when he was added to the team in the same announcement as Team China superstar Xu “guxue” Qiulin, you can find more info here.

Stacking Their Supports

Ho-jin “iDK” Park is mostly known for his Lucio, a very strong Hero in the current GOATS meta. He was part of Lucky Future Zenith. On 2018 his team managed to win first place in Contenders China Season 1 and Season 2, as well as winning first place in LanStory Cup – Chengdu. He also used to be part of Lunatic-Hai and Afreeca Freecs.

Hyeong-Geun “Revenge” An is being transferred from team Seven, from Overwatch Contenders Korea. He will be joining his former teammates Jun-Ki “Bazzi” Park and Jae-hwan “Adora” Kang, who played together in Seven.
