The first seasonal event as part of the 2026 Overwatch update is called Conquest. The event will pit players against one another, forcing them to choose a side in the ongoing war between Talon and Overwatch, earning your alliance progress as you play games and complete challenges.
Conquest is a new event in Overwatch that will run for the duration of 2026: Season 1. This forces players to ally with Talon or Overwatch, earning progress for their side along the way.

Players will be able to choose a new Faction each week, and will likely see new lore drops as the event progresses.
