Even though Overwatch 2 is on its way, the Overwatch development team still has some gifts for the current player base. On Monday June 27, the Overwatch team announced a brand new skin for Brigitte. The Medic Brigitte skin is the latest legendary skin for the support character and it appears to be around for a limited time.

From June 29 through July 19, fans can grab the new Brigitte skin by gifting subscriptions to their favorite streamer. The promotion is for a new event called “Support a Streamer”. Throughout the allotted time frame, selected streamers are chosen to be the lucky recipients of the partnership with Overwatch. Once a viewer has donated three subscriptions to other viewers in the chat, they will receive a skin-code in their inventory.

The promotional skin comes as a surprise to many fans of Overwatch, as there wasn’t much of a hint for this event. The surprise is certainly a welcome one however as it was noted earlier last week that all skins would be transferring over to Overwatch 2. Players who follow through the steps to gain Medic Brigitte will have that skin going forward. The event is tied with the release of the second Overwatch 2 beta.
There is quite the long list of streamers that audiences can donate to. In fact there are 160 streamers that are participating in the event. Streamers include former pros as well as popular non-Overwatch streamers. Be sure to check out the event to grab the Medic Brigitte legendary skin.
