While many fans expected a player announcement, the LA Valiant surprised the community by announcing the Valiant Winter Ball.

Event Breakdown
The event, which will occur on December 12th and 13th, features an “art and fashion showcase, an exhibition match with influences and past players along with a competitive showmatch with the team’s 2021 rosters” along with other unannounced events. The Florida Mayhem, Atlanta Reign and LA Gladiators will be participating at the event as well. All of this will likely be streamed on twitch.tv/lavaliant but its locations has not been officially announced.
What to Expect
This event gives the Overwatch community opportunity a chance to shine. Influencers like Samito, Jay3, and Fran who are signed to the Mayhem and Reign likely will be in the involved.
On top of that, the OWL show matches will give fans a chance to get a look at their favorite teams come next season. The Chinese OWL teams did a similar event before last season that resulted in hype surrounding specific teams and players. This will be fans first opportunity to take a look at the new LA Gladiators roster, the updates Atlanta Reign and Florida Mayhem rosters and even the LA Valiant with a few new toys.
