In a weekly video series entitled the Custa News Network, Valiant captain and main support Scott “Custa” Kennedy has announced his retirement from the Overwatch League. He compares himself to the likes of Jacob “Jake” Lyon and Do-hyeon “Pine” Kim, who have also recently retired.

Custa’s future is uncertain. He stated that he’s going to still be around, like both of the players mentioned above. However, Jake is going into casting, and Pine is becoming a streamer for the New York Excelsior. Perhaps Custa could do the same, in either field of work.

He also added a Twitlonger explaining the decision to a certain degree.
What this means for the Valiant going forward is uncertain. Without a main support, their signings aren’t complete, it seems. Keep all eyes on their Twitter, and TheGameHaus, for updates as this story continues to unfold.
