In the afternoon of Tuesday October 6, the first of many off-season releases were announced by the Los Angeles Gladiators. With the first move of their off-season, the Gladiators have released DPS player Jason “Jaru” White. Jaru leaves the team just after his rookie season.

The Gladiators make their move knowing they have three talented damage dealers left on the roster. Behind Chris “Mirror” Trinh, Kevin “Kevster” Persson, and Ji-hyeok “Birdring” Kim, Jaru had slowly been transitioned out of the starting rotation. Jaru now has the chance to make his mark on a new team once the signing window opens up later this month.
A few moments later, LA announced another departure of a familiar face – Aaron “Bischu” Kim.

This will, oddly enough, be the second time the Gladiators have let Bischu go. At the end of the 2019 season, Bischu was traded to the Guangzhou Charge, only to be re-signed back before the 2020 season. The release of Bischu leaves the team with Min-seok “OGE” Son and Indy “SPACE” Halpern as tanks going forward.
