On Tuesday January 5, the London Spitfire announced the promotion of British Hurricane off tank Mikkel “Molf1g” Djernes to their 2021 roster. Molf1g serves as the second half of the brand new tank line, alongside Hadi “Hadi” Bleinagel.

Molf1g joins the London Spitfire after several years of competing in competitive Overwatch. Dating back to 2017, Molf1g has played with several different teams competiting even before European Contenders. In 2019, Molf1g played alongside fellow Hurricane call-up Kristian “Kellex” Kellar and new Spitfire coach Mads “fischer” Jehg on the Denmark World Cup team. Together the three new Spitfire members placed top 6 in the 2019 World Cup.

Molf1g joined the Hurricane late in 2019, where he and Hadi began to serve as the Hurricane’s front line. Together they cemented themselves as the best tank line in Europe. Now after an almost perfect year with the British Hurricane, Molf1g will bring his off tank prowess to the Overwatch League.
