Many fans are excited to hear about the Spitfire’s latest signing. On Wednesday January 6, the London Spitfire announced the promotion of British Hurricane hit-scan player William “SparkR” Andersson to the 2021 roster. SparkR joins the team as the third DPS player, alongside Jeffery “blasé” Tsang and Dominic “Hybrid” Grove.
SparkR joined the British Hurricane back in 2019, and has been with the team up until his promotion. As a hit-scan specialist, SparkR has excelled on most heroes and has shown proficiency on characters like Tracer and McCree.

While SparkR has been one of the longer tenured players on the British Hurricane, he is also the youngest to join the Spitfire. Unfortunately, he won’t be eligible to play in the Overwatch League until June when he turns 18. Until then, the Spitfire will lean heavily on blasé and Hybrid to handle things on the DPS side.
