On Friday December 4,the Houston Outlaws announced two signings for their 2021 roster. The first welcomed former Talon off tank Min-jun “PIGGY” Shin. Then a few moments later, the Outlaws revealed they would be signing PIGGY’s former teammate Myung-heum “JJANGGU” Cho as their latest main tank.
PIGGY joins the Outlaws after an extremely successful career on Talon Esports in the Pacific Contenders region. In fact, PIGGY and JJANGGU performed well enough to make Talon eligible to compete in Korean Contenders. There the team finished 4th overall after losing to RunAway in the Contenders playoffs.

The wait is over for Houston fans, they finally have a dedicated main tank again. After moving away from Austin “Muma” Wilmot, the Houston Outlaws have relied on flex DPS-turned-main tank João Pedro “Hydration” Goes Telles to fill in. Unfortunately Hydration couldn’t quite get it done, but JJANGGU should be a massive improvement for a rebuilding Houston team.
