After weeks of speculation and sources confirming the signing, the Hangzhou Spark finally announce the signing of Min-soo “SeoMinSoo” Seo. The announcement was made on Twitter late Thursday evening.

According to sources, The Hangzhou Spark have supposedly signed former Vancouver Titans DPS Min-Soo “Seominsoo” Seo.

SeoMinSoo is a flex DPS player who most recently played with the Vancouver Titans before their eventual blow up. His time with the team garnered much success when the Titans dominated the GOAT meta. This was a meta that the team also held their own in Contenders Korea under the RunAway banner. During this period, SMS primarily played the Zarya role, which is an off pick from his usual Damage roots. Having that pocket pick for the Korean flex, however, can be valuable to any team. And now the Spark have that in their favour.

Other than his Zarya, SeoMinSoo is known for typical flex picks like Doomfist, Pharah and Hanzo. But on top of this, he is also proficient on Reaper when needed. Having this kind of versatility is vital, especially for someone who may be sharing time with a player with one of the widest hero pools in the game: Minho “Architect” Park. With both players on the same team: any meta could potentially be viable for Hangzhou.

In Conclusion…

SeoMinSoo‘s signing officially closes the doors to any more additions to this current roster. With this being said, the team now have four varied, tried and true DPS at their disposal. Kyeong-bo “GodsB” Kim and Zheng “Shy” Yangjie are a great veteran/rookie hitscan pairing. And now with Architect and SeoMinSoo, the team have plenty of options to go to as the meta flux and flows.
