Perfect Timing

This couldn’t have come at a better time. One by one, Overwatch esports fans are watching Contenders teams drop like flies. On Monday, the same day as the latest update to the tournament, the Overwatch Contenders community lost Team Envy.

The community also saw other notable teams like Clockwork Vendetta and Montreal Rebellion cut their rosters this month. This tournament will help bring the hurting Contenders community together for some fun and competition.

On April 29th, Monkey Bubble Esports joined forces with Fran to help make this event possible. Monkey Bubble Esports is an event organizer company that helps organize, in their words, “grassroots esports” tournaments and fundraisers. This year they have helped organize and host some notable Overwatch events. They hosted the Female Legends tournament that took play last weekend, they provided coverage for the Echo Showdown and even helped stream Open Division playoffs back in February. Their news page with all the details can be found here.
